What can I say, 2015 - you have been fun, you have been fabulous and you have been...
...the year I nearly got bitten by a goat, leaned off too many fire escapes! (for group shots), didn't really get rained on (not sure how!), but did experience snow. I walked backwards down the longest confetti run EVER, fell in love with a few adorable bridesmaids, watched a bride get attacked by flies who seemed to love her headpiece - eeek!!! Swooned at many sunsets, welled up at to many speeches to mention and felt sad to say good bye at the end of the night, many times over.
I visited a number of venues for the first time and loved exploring, Eastington Park in Stonehouse, Chiseldon House Hotel, and Wellington Barn in Calne are a few new favs! I also shot two super gorgeous home-made weddings that blew me away with creativity.
The dresses were stunning this year, as were the flowers - some hand tied and some very structured, all very pretty. I was especially impressed with Lotty's mum who grew all the flowers for her daughters wedding and is about to embark on doing the same for her daughter Pippa.
There were lots of gorgeous vintage twists, with beautiful rings and dresses, hair and cars - actually, amazing cars this year!! You can't beat the smell of a vintage car! I also loved Lydia and Stuart's rainbow layered wedding cake and Naomi and Matt's flower football inspired centre piece - just so bold and original.
And last but not least, I loved all the LOVE I saw this year. So many couples, with such lovely stories about how they met and got engaged. It's all just so romantic, AND I LOVE IT!
2015 you were spectacular, now bring on 2016!!
