Having been together for many years, Neil and Karen decided to get married this summer in Christ Church in Old Town, Swindon. I loved meeting with them and finding out about their plans. They have two girls and the day was just as exciting for them as it was for Neil and Karen, they even joined us at our first meeting.
On the day, I met Neil at the church with his best man and usher. The wind was strong, but thankfully the rain just about held off for their guests to all get settled in the beautiful church. I had no idea what Karen's dress and hair plans were until she arrived and I thought she looked stunning. I am sure Neil felt the same. I loved their stylish black and white colour theme, which covered the bridesmaids, order of ceremony, flowers and more. Very elegant.
This was continued through to their wedding reception, which was held at The Cross Keys in Wanborough. Neil and his men had decorated the venue in the morning and I was very impressed with their efforts. Bunting, huge white helium filled balloons, flowers, lots of lovely touches everywhere - even a bouncy castle for the children! Neil was keen for it to be perfect for their big day and he did a great job.
Towards the end of the day, Neil, Karen and I head out into the garden for some lovely late afternoon photographs. I even managed to encourage Karen to have a few on her own and I love how these turned out. A perfect day for a truly gorgeous couple :)
