Red Lip, Classic, Bridal Photoshoot
I am totally in LOVE with this look and am very excited to be sharing it with you.
The idea for this photoshoot was sparked by a line from the Taylor Swift song - STYLE, the line being "Red lip, classic, thing that you like". I have to say I have a bit of a crush on the videos that Taylor Swift makes and drew a lot of inspiration from the feeling that these evoke in me. I couldn't be more thrilled about how my 'Red lip, Classic" inspired bridal shoot came together.
Hair and Make Up - I wanted a smooth and sleek hair style, something that would suit a red carpet event, classically stylish and beautiful. Also by sweeping it up, we could see the lovely curves of the brides neck and shoulders. And for her make-up, well this was the basis for the shoot - red lips, and then to add a contemporary element I wanted her eyes to have a flick of black liner.
Dress - I was looking for a simple and yet classic dress, something that showed off the brides beautiful curves. I didn't want to much embellishment and loved the simple detail the dress had around it's cowl neckline. The draped back is also stunning and enhances the beautiful feminine feel.
Flowers - A more classic looking bouquet worked well with this theme, and so they are more neat in their appearance and how they have been put together. I felt it would be nice to keep the flowers simple in colour using whites, creams, blush pink or peach and love how they look.
The shoot took place at Chiseldon House, where I used the interior of the beautiful hotel along with the stunning sandstone exterior to help enhance the classic feel I wanted to create. And Jemimah, our model, was just stunning too - absolutely perfect for this look.
